Aurora is an initiative driven by a diverse community that dreams and works for a more united and better organized world. We imagine social technology capable of restoring meaning to the collective, rebuilding trust, and opening, with the help of technology, a new era of global-scale collaboration.
To make this possible, we are developing Aurora CivicTech: a startup building next-generation democratic collaboration tools so that any human group—from local to global communities—can organize autonomously, transparently, and democratically.
The problem we face
We live in an obsolete system that is dying. Decisions are made far from our realities, power encloses itself, and democracy is reduced to voting every few years for increasingly polarized options.
